Rallying on the footprints of some of the most reknown Special Stages of the past Acropolis Rallies, during this year's Historic Acropolis Rally (4-5 June 2022), will awaken distant and glorious memories of one of the milestone events in the history of the World Championship.

Designing the Historic Acropolis Rally 2022, the Organizing Committee has already brought back the spirit of the Rallies of the past by allowing free Servicing at the Liaisons and without any repeated Special Stages. And now, it added at this year's HAR's Itinerary some of the most iconic tests.

Between the start under the Acropolis and the finish at Zappeion, both in capital Athens' center, the crews will cover six Special Stages on Saturday 4/6 and five on Sunday 5/6, totaling 152.10 km. One of the highlights of the event will be the night test of the iconic SS Karoutes, on Saturday evening North of the Rally's HQ in Itea.

The first day of the Historic Acropolis (4/6) begins with three Stages -in Skourta (13 km), Asopia (14.41 km) and Thiva (11.89 km)- before the midday regrouping at the town of Livadia. The Stages of Livadia (11 km) and Parnassos (19 km) will follow before the second regrouping in Itea, and the nocturnal SS Karoutes that will conclude the day.

After the overnight stay at Itea's Parc Ferme, the cars will start Sunday's action at SS Amfissa (14,40 km). The next test, Pyra (18 km), will be followed by the classic route of Pavliani, before regrouping at the village of Gravia.

The second day of the 2022 Historic Acropolis Rally will end with three consecutive Stages in Elatia, Distomo and Neochoraki, 12 km long each. After that, the crews will return to Athens to cross the finish ramp at Zappeion Megaron, in close proximity to the Acropolis.

The 2022 Historic Acropolis Rally, candidate event for the 2023 European Historic Rally Championship, will also welcome on the same days the competitors of the Regularity Historic Acropolis Rally 2022. The Regularity event is part of this year's FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies, and it's Itinerary and Special Stages will be announced in due time.
